The newly founded Chamber Orchestra "Tijardović" - Split opens a new chapter in the musical life of the city of Split with its first concert. In the form of concert, symphonic and chamber-orchestral performances, as well as in support of numerous Split soloists and guest musicians - these are countless possibilities opened up by the existence of a permanent orchestra! The name of Ivo Tijardović carries the idea of the variety of activities that the orchestra wants to branch out. It is not only a tribute to the great composer from Split, but also a kind of symbol of the aspirations of the new ensemble. The orchestra was founded on the initiative of several music enthusiasts in Split, and the orchestra is headed by conductor Hari Zlodre. At its first concert, the "Tijardović" Chamber Orchestra performs works by WA Mozart, C. Debussy, E. Elgar, O. Respighi, R. Wagner and A. Schönberg.
