
Matea Divjak was born on February 25, 2006 in Tuzla. She began her musical journey at the Elementary Music School in Živinice, in the class of Master of Arts Monika Tadić.
In 2021, he enrolled at the Secondary Music School "Čestmir Mirko Dušek" in Tuzla, in two majors, in the class of Prof. M.A. Slađana Dedić, where he received recognition Student of the generation.
In 2025, he entered the Music Academy in Sarajevo in the class of prof. M.Sc. Azre Medić, where he is currently studying and perfecting his artistic calling.
During her education so far, she has won numerous awards at regional and international competitions, including:
1st prize at the International Competition UGMUS "Primavera" in Bijeljina
Special Award at the International Competition "Sergei Rachmaninoff" in Novo Sarajevo
1st prize at the 8th Pianism Festival in Sremska Mitrovica
Special, I. and II. prize at Federal competitions
3rd prize at the International Competition "Davorin Jenko" in Belgrade
Special awards in the field of chamber music and piano four hands
During her education, she participated in master classes with prominent pianists and pedagogues, including Konstantin Krasnytsky, Aida Gavrilova, Rita Kinka, Katarina Krpan and Kemal Gekić.
She holds solo concerts and actively performs as a soloist and member of chamber ensembles in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia.
For her exceptional results and dedicated work, she has been the recipient of a scholarship for gifted high school students for four years in a row.
