CONDITIONS: Level of education: completed undergraduate and graduate university studies or integrated undergraduate and graduate university studies or specialist graduate professional studies, or completed undergraduate university studies or professional studies, as well as a person who obtained a VSS according to the previously valid regulations, social or humanistic direction.

Other competencies:

  • five years of professional experience,
  • professional, work, organizational and communication skills,
  • tendency to teamwork,
  • independence and meticulousness in completing tasks,
  • high motivation for work and willingness and ability to acquire new knowledge,
  • active knowledge of the English language, B level,
  • advanced knowledge of IT systems.

JOB DESCRIPTION - This position envisages performing the following tasks:

  • performs all necessary administrative and legal tasks,
  • keeps records of the employee's business obligations,
  • manages the official communication of the Director's Office with external collaborators,
  • prepares the necessary documents for the director's business needs,
  • performs other tasks for the needs of the director and other tasks within his scope.

Candidates are required to attach the handwritten application (which must include first and last name, phone number, e-mail address and residential address) with:

  • biography,
  • proof of citizenship (copy of birth certificate or identity card),
  • proof of the appropriate level of education (copy of diploma),
  • proof of work experience (certificate from the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute),
  • proof of knowledge of the English language (certificate from the school for foreign languages ​​or a copy from the index),
  • proof of knowledge of computer work (certificate from the appropriate school or handwritten declaration of knowledge of computer work),
  • assurance that no criminal proceedings are being conducted against the candidate,
  • certificate of passing the professional exam (if the professional exam has been passed).

People of both sexes can apply for the competition. The terms used in this competition, which have a gender meaning, are used neutrally and refer equally to the female and male genders.

The documents are attached in a copy, and the selected candidate will present the documentation in the original/certified copy.

Candidates who exercise the right to priority in employment according to special regulations, in accordance with Article 102 of the Act on Croatian Veterans of the Homeland War and Members of Their Families (Official Gazette, No. 121/17, 98/19, 84/21), Article 48.f of the Act on protection of military and civilian war invalids (Official Gazette, number 33/92, 57/92, 77/92, 27/93, 58/93, 2/94, 76/94, 108/95, 108/96, 82/01 , 103/03, 148/13, 98/19), Article 48 of the Act on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War (Official Gazette, No. 84/21) and Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (Official Gazette, No. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18, 32/20), are obliged to refer to this right in their tender application and have priority over other candidates only under equal conditions.

In order to exercise the right of priority in employment, candidates who meet the conditions for exercise of this right, are required to attach all prescribed documentation from which it is visibly mentioned, according to a special law, with the application for the competition.

Candidates who refer to the right of preference in employment in accordance with Article 102, paragraphs 1-3 of the Act on Croatian Veterans of the Homeland War and Members of Their Families (Official Gazette, No. 121/17, 98/19, 84/21) and to the right of priority in the employment of persons referred to in Article 48, paragraphs 1-2 of the Act on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War (Official Gazette, No. 84/21), who at the time of submitting the application meet the conditions for exercising this right, must attach to the tender application all evidence of fulfilling the required conditions from the tender and, depending on the category that is called for priority in employment, attach all the necessary evidence available at the link of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans https://branitelji.gov.hr/zaposljavanje-843/843.

Candidates who refer to the right of priority in employment in accordance with Article 48.f of the Act on the Protection of Military and Civilian War Invalids (Official Gazette, No. 33/92, 57/92, 77/92, 27/93, 58/93, 2 /94, 76/94, 108/95, 108/96, 82/01, 103/03, 148/13, 98/19), along with the application for the tender, in addition to proof of fulfillment of the required conditions from the tender, they must also attach a decision, i.e. a certificate from which the mentioned right is visible, and proof of how the employment relationship ended.

Candidates who refer to the right of priority in employment in accordance with Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (Official Gazette, No. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18, 32/20), with application for the competition they are required, in addition to proof of fulfillment of the required conditions from the tender, to attach proof of the established status of a person with a disability. Public documents on the basis of which a person can be registered in the register of employed persons with disabilities from Article 13 of the aforementioned Act are considered proof of disability.

Applications are delivered by registered mail within 8 days of publication to the address: Public cultural institution Hrvatski dom Split, Tončićeva 1, 21 000 Split with the indication "for the position of BUSINESS SECRETARY". Incomplete and untimely applications, as well as applications of candidates who do not meet the formal requirements of the competition, will not be considered.

By submitting an application to the competition, candidates give their consent to the Public Culture Institution Hrvatski dom Split that, as the manager of personal data processing, they may collect, use and process their personal data exclusively for the purpose of implementing the competition procedure and publishing information about the results of the competition, in accordance with the regulations governing the protection personal data.

Candidates who meet the conditions prescribed by the competition and are shortlisted will be invited to an interview and/or a written test of professional knowledge, abilities and skills, on the basis of which the final selection of candidates will be made. Candidates who do not respond to the call for interview/screening will be considered to have abandoned the competition.

Candidates will be informed about the results of the competition by publication on the official website of the Public Institution in Culture Hrvatski dom Split in the section ABOUT US - Basic documents - Competitions for positions, Pursuant to Art. 10, paragraph 1, point 10 of the Law on the right to access information (Official Gazette 25/13, 85/15 and 69/22), within 8 days from the expiration of the deadline for making a decision on the selection of candidates for the position. Delivery of the decision is considered to have been completed at the end of the eighth day from the day of publication of the decision on the website. Candidates who invoked the right of priority will be notified in accordance with the provisions of the law.
