Pursuant to Article 38 of the Statute of the Public Institution of Culture Croatian House Split and the Rules of Procedure of the Public Institution of Culture Croatian House Split - Establishment of an Employment Relationship, Article 1 and Article 20, the Public Institution Croatian House Split hereby announces

COMPETITION

for work place  PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER AND WEB EDITOR

 

1 executor for an indefinite period with a trial period of 3 months

  1. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • completed university graduate study or university integrated undergraduate and graduate study or professional graduate study in social sciences (MAG./VSS),
  • at least five (5) years of work experience in the same or similar jobs,
  • advanced computer skills,
  • expressed professional, work, organizational and communication skills,
  • active knowledge of English in speaking and writing (level B),
  • category B driver's license.

In accordance with Article 13 of the Gender Equality Act (Official Gazette, No. 82/08, 69/17), persons of both sexes may apply for this advertisement. The terms used in this advertisement and having gender meanings refer equally to both male and female genders.

By applying for the competition, persons agree that JUK Hrvatski dom Split, as the data controller, will process the data collected on the basis of the competition only to the extent and only for the purpose of implementing the competition, by persons authorized to implement the competition. JUK Hrvatski dom Split will handle personal data in accordance with applicable regulations, applying appropriate technical security measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, misuse, disclosure, loss or damage.

Along with the personally signed application for the competition, persons are required to provide the applicant's personal information (name and surname, address of residence, telephone number, email address) and the name of the job position for which they are applying.

The following attachments must be attached to the tender application:

  1. biography,
  2. proof of citizenship (national identity card or ID card – copy),
  3. proof of the appropriate level of education (certificate / diploma - copy),
  4. proof of total work experience ((printout of the electronic record of data from the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute or a certificate of data recorded in the records of the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute obtained during the competition. The record/certificate, among other data, must contain data on the employer, start and end of insurance, actual and required qualifications, working hours, municipality of residence and duration of insurance experience),
  5. proof of work experience gained in appropriate jobs, appropriate level of education and profession required in this advertisement, for a period of at least five years, which is recorded in an electronic record (e-workbook) or a certificate from item 4, (proof means: copies of employment contracts, decisions on work schedules or employer's certificates on the type of work performed by the worker and the duration of the employment relationship from which the fact of the required work experience in appropriate jobs for a certain period of time can be established; it is mandatory to cumulatively attach the following attachments
  6. proof of English language proficiency (copy of the index showing the candidate's personal data, high school diploma or appropriate certificates)
  7. proof of computer literacy (copy of the index showing the person's personal data, high school diploma or appropriate certificate containing personal data)
  8. certificate from the competent court that no criminal proceedings are being conducted against the person
  9. other evidence that the person considers relevant (optional documentation).

Documents may be attached as uncertified copies, and the selected person is obliged to present them in the original or a certified copy before concluding the contract.

The time of the preliminary knowledge and skills test will be announced on the bulletin board of the Public Cultural Institution Croatian Home Split, on the official website of the Croatian Home Split, and delivered via email, at least three (3) days before the test.

Pursuant to Article 12 of the Constitution of the Republic of Croatia (Official Gazette No. 56/90, 135/97, 08/98, 113/00, 124/00, 28/01, 41/01, 55/01, 76/10, 85/10 and 05/14), the Croatian language and the Latin script are in official use in the Republic of Croatia. Accordingly, all documentation must be in the Croatian language and the Latin script. Documents in a language other than Croatian must be translated into Croatian and certified by a certified court interpreter for the language in question. Otherwise, the application will not be considered valid.

The requirement of an appropriate level of education is also met by a person who has acquired the appropriate professional qualification in accordance with previous regulations. A person applying for the vacancy on the basis of education acquired outside the Republic of Croatia is required to submit the original certificate/diploma together with a translation by a certified court interpreter for the subject language and an opinion or certificate of recognized educational qualification from a competent body or agency of the Republic of Croatia.

Work experience in appropriate jobs is work experience gained in service in administrative bodies of local or regional self-government units, in state or public service, in employment with a private employer, independent performance of professional activities in accordance with special regulations, or performance of work in international organizations achieved in jobs of the appropriate level of education and profession required in this advertisement.

In accordance with Article 13 of the Gender Equality Act (Official Gazette, No. 82/08 and 69/17), persons of both sexes may apply for the competition on an equal basis. The terms used in this competition that have a gender meaning refer equally to both male and female genders.

Persons who, according to special regulations, exercise the right of priority in employment have priority over other persons only under equal conditions and must refer to this right in the application for an advertisement. The person who invokes that right in the application is obliged to attach appropriate documents as proof of status and other evidence in accordance with the special law that defines that right. Under equal conditions is meant a situation in which two people have the same number of points on the ranking list of persons, and priority in employment is given to the person who referred to a certain right in his application and proved the same with the attached documents.

A person who has invoked the right to priority under the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of Their Families (Official Gazette, No. 121/17, 98/19, 84/21 and 156/23) is obliged, in addition to evidence of meeting the requirements required by the advertisement, to submit all evidence from Article 103 of the cited Act. The evidence required for exercising the right to priority in employment is published on the website of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans of the Republic of Croatia; https://branitelji.gov.hr/zaposljavanje-843/843 .

A person who has invoked the right to priority in employment under the Act on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War (Official Gazette, No. 84/21) is obliged, in addition to evidence of meeting the requirements set out in the advertisement, to submit all evidence referred to in Article 49 of the Act on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War. The evidence required for exercising the right to priority in employment is published on the website of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans of the Republic of Croatia; https://branitelji.gov.hr/zaposljavanje-u-drzavnoj-sluzbi/843 .

A person who invokes the right to priority in employment in accordance with Article 48. f of the Act on the Protection of Military and Civilian War Invalids (Official Gazette, No. 33/92, 57/92, 77/92, 27/93, 58/93, 02/94, 76/94, 108/95, 108/96, 82/01, 103/03, 148/13 and 98/19) is obliged to submit a decision or certificate of recognition of the right to apply for the vacancy, in addition to proof of meeting the required conditions.

A person who has invoked the right to priority in employment under the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (Official Gazette, No. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18 and 32/20) is obliged, in addition to proof of meeting the required conditions of the advertisement, to submit proof of disability, provided that this proof includes public documents on disability on the basis of which the person can be entered in the register of persons with disabilities referred to in Article 13 of that Act.

A proper application is considered to be one that contains all the information and attachments requested in the advertisement. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.

A person who does not submit a timely and proper application or does not meet the formal requirements of the advertisement is not considered to have applied for the advertisement, their application will not be considered and they will be notified in writing in accordance with the provisions of Article 21, paragraph 2 of the ZSN.

For persons who meet the formal conditions from the advertisement and have acquired the status of a person registered for the advertisement, a preliminary check of knowledge and abilities will be carried out through a written test, practical work and an interview.

If a person does not take the previous knowledge and skills test, he/she will be considered to have withdrawn his/her application for the advertisement. The interview will only be conducted with persons who have achieved at least 75% of points in each part of the knowledge and skills test of persons in the written test and the practical work test. The results of the interview are scored in the same way as the written test.

Applications for the advertisement with evidence of meeting the requirements must be submitted within 8 days from the date of publication of the advertisement via the Croatian Employment Service, by registered mail to the following address:

If you determine that it is necessary to supplement an application that you have already submitted, this can be done up until the deadline for submitting applications. After the application deadline, application supplements will not be considered.
