Detailed job descriptions, working conditions and other information related to the position are published in the Regulations on the systematization of jobs and tasks of the Public Cultural Institution Croatian House Split, which is available on the official website of the Institution.
The competition is open to persons of both sexes, in accordance with the Gender Equality Act (Official Gazette 82/08, 69/17). The terms used in this competition that have a gender meaning are used neutrally and refer equally to both males and females.
By applying for the competition, candidates agree that JUK Hrvatski dom Split, as the data controller, will process the data collected on the basis of the competition only to the extent and only for the purpose of implementing the competition, by persons authorized to implement the competition. JUK Hrvatski dom Split will handle personal data in accordance with applicable regulations, applying appropriate technical security measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, misuse, disclosure, loss or damage.
Candidates are required to provide their personal information (name and surname, address of residence, telephone number, email address) and the name of the job position for which they are applying, along with their signed application for the competition.

Documents may be submitted as uncertified copies, and the selected candidate is obliged to present them in the original or a certified copy before concluding the contract.
The time of the preliminary test of knowledge and abilities of candidates will be announced on the bulletin board of the Public Cultural Institution Croatian House Split, on the official website of the Croatian House Split and delivered to candidates via email, at least three (3) days before the test.
In accordance with Article 12 of the Constitution of the Republic of Croatia (Official Gazette, No. 56/90, 135/97, 8/98, 113/00, 124/00, 28/01, 41/01, 55/01, 76/10, 85/10 and 5/14), the Croatian language and the Latin script are in official use in the Republic of Croatia. Accordingly, all documentation attached to the application must be in the Croatian language and the Latin script. An application with documentation that does not meet the above requirement will not be considered valid.
The requirement of an appropriate level of education is also met by a person who has acquired the appropriate professional qualification according to previous regulations. A candidate who has acquired education abroad is required to submit a decision from the competent authority on the recognition of the foreign educational qualification with the application.
In accordance with Article 13 of the Gender Equality Act (Official Gazette, No. 82/08 and 69/17), persons of both sexes may apply for the competition on an equal basis. The terms used in this competition that have a gender meaning refer equally to both male and female genders.
Candidates who exercise the right to priority in employment according to special regulations have priority over other candidates only under equal conditions and are required to explicitly refer to that right in their application and attach all prescribed documentation.
Equal conditions are considered to be a situation in which two or more candidates achieve the same total number of points on the final ranking list, and the advantage is given to the candidate who has invoked a specific right of priority in the application and proven it with the prescribed documentation.
A candidate who invokes the right to priority in employment based on the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of Their Families ("Official Gazette", No. 121/17, 98/19, 84/21 and 156/23) is obliged to submit the evidence prescribed by Article 103 of the aforementioned Act with their application.
A candidate who invokes the right to priority in employment based on the Act on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War ("Official Gazette", No. 84/21) is obliged to submit the evidence prescribed by Article 49 of the aforementioned Act with his/her application.
A candidate who invokes the right of priority in accordance with Article 48.f of the Act on the Protection of Military and Civilian War Invalids (Official Gazette, No. 33/92 etc.) is obliged to submit a decision or certificate of recognized status.
A candidate who invokes the right of priority under the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities ("Official Gazette", No. 157/13 etc.) is obliged to submit proof of disability in accordance with Article 13 of the aforementioned Act.
A valid application is one that contains all the information and attachments specified in this call for applications. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
Candidates who meet the formal requirements of the competition and have successfully passed the first round of the selection procedure — which includes the administrative verification of application documents and determination of compliance with the competition requirements — will be notified of the further procedure within 15 days of the deadline for submitting applications, in accordance with applicable legal regulations.
Candidates who do not meet the formal requirements of the competition or do not achieve candidate status in the first round of the procedure will not be separately notified.
For candidates who meet the formal requirements, a preliminary assessment of knowledge and abilities will be conducted through a written test and interview.
A candidate who does not appear for the test will be considered to have withdrawn his/her application. An interview will only be conducted with candidates who achieve at least 75% of the total points in the written part of the test.
