The public cultural institution Croatian House Split, represented by the director Vanesa Kleva, as an employer, pursuant to Articles 26 and 27 of the Labor Act (Official Gazette, Nos. 93/14, 127/17, 98/19, 151/22), the provisions of the Statute of the Public Cultural Institution Croatian House Split, the Regulations on the Internal Organization and Systematization of Jobs, the conditions of the Public Competition for the position of Janitor, the minutes of the Commission for the Implementation of the Public Competition, and the principles of freedom of contract and autonomy of will of the contracting parties in the procedure for establishing an employment relationship, on December 30, 2025, hereby issues the following

THE DECISION

I.
The public vacancy notice for the position of janitor, published on November 28, 2025 on the website of the Public Cultural Institution Croatian Home Split and through the Croatian Employment Service, is hereby cancelled.

II.
The public tender is cancelled because all registered candidates withdrew from further participation during the tender procedure, which means that the legal, formal and actual conditions for the selection of candidates and the establishment of employment under the tender in question were not met.

III.
In accordance with the Labor Act, the terms of the Public Tender and the general acts of the Public Cultural Institution Croatian House Split, the employer is not obliged to select candidates in the event that it is determined that the necessary conditions do not exist, and reserves the right to cancel the public tender in its entirety, while respecting the principles of legality, conscientiousness and fairness, and equal treatment of all candidates.

IV.
The cancellation of the public competition does not create any rights of the candidate to employment or other rights arising from employment, in accordance with the Labor Act and the terms of the Public Competition.

V.
A new public competition will be announced for the position in question, which will be published in the same or an appropriate manner, in accordance with applicable regulations, and the interested public will be informed of this in a timely manner.

VI.
This Decision enters into force on the day of its adoption.

Legal remedy information:

An appeal may be filed against this Decision within 7 days from the date of delivery.
Delivery of this Decision to all candidates is considered completed on the eighth (8th) day from the date of publication on the website of the Public Cultural Institution Croatian Home Split, whereby the Decision is considered final.
