
On Saturday, October 5, at 20:XNUMX p.m., the Croatian Home Split officially opens the new season in the Ivo Tijardović Concert Hall with the concert "Spiriti Eccellenti" - Tribute to Peter Bergamo, accompanied by the HRT Choir and conductor Tomislav Fačini. On this occasion, and especially marking the World Teacher's Day, Croatian Home Split decided present a concert to the teachers of the Split-Dalmatia County.
"The concert laboratory of the Hrvatski dom Split brought in a third of all tickets sold last season, and the season was a record. Thus, more than 7.000 schoolchildren and children of kindergarten age visited programs for children in the Ivo Tijardović Concert Hall. In order to mark the new season in a special way and encouraged the further development of this innovative program for children, we decided to give the first concert of the season to our teachers. they work intensively on the development of the audience in the county," explains director Vanesa Kleva.
Ceremonial opening of the 2024/2025 season. will begin with a dedication to one of the most important Split composers of recent times - Peter Bergamo in performance Choir of HRT and conductor Tomislav Fačini. In the collection of seven madrigals Spiriti eccellenti, to which this performance owes its name, Bergamo excelled in all aspects of the female choir's vocal performance. Magnificent verses of the poetess Marine Čapalije flow into the splendor of madrigalism in this masterpiece of Croatian choral literature.
In the continuation of the CLASSICAL MUSIC cycle, the season will also feature the Goldmund String Quartet, Trio Elogio – guitar trio, Ana Vidović – guitar, Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra with Đana Kahrim, Dialogos Ensemble with Katarina Livljanić, Milan Scala Virtuosi with Greta Doveri – soprano, Split Virtuosos with guests, Yoav Levanon - piano, Vienna Hofburg Orchestra, Valentina Fijačko - soprano with Marija Čopor - piano, Alissa Margulis - violin & Andreas Frölich - piano, Zoran Dukić - guitar, Papandopulo Quartet, Georgia Balabini - soprano & Mislav Režić - classical and electric guitar, Ilaria Loatelli – piano, Elision Ensemble (performs works by Liza Lim), Ljubomir Puškarić – baritone & Darijan Ivezić – piano, and Martina Filjak – piano & Monika Leskovar – cello.
New season in the Ivo Tijardović Concert Hall brings more than 70 concerts and other musical events within 5 different cycles, 5 cycle subscriptions with special benefits for pensioners and people under 30 years old and a unique subscription in the "Tesseract" culture in which visitors create their own season.
The season is divided into 5 cycles - the cycle of classical music which includes a total of 20 concerts, jazz music with 13 concerts, world and popular music with a total of 17 concerts, traditional music with 6 concerts of Split cultural and artistic societies and the Split circuit which brings 12 concerts of Split musicians , i.e. evenings of composers from Split, as well as the "Jakov Gotovac" Young Musicians Cycle, which is conceived as a platform that provides young musicians with the opportunity to gain concert experience beyond academic productions, thereby contributing to their affirmation on the local and national scene, with a key emphasis on the performance of living Croatian authors .
