Audition for two academic opera singers for roles in an operetta performance based on the musical play in five scenes "Adventures in Shanghai" by Ivo Tijardović

The Croatian House Split is announcing an audition for two academic opera singers (tenor and baritone) and two academic opera singers (soprano and mezzo-soprano) who, in addition to professional singing abilities, also have acceptable dancing and acting skills.

The play will be performed at the Ivo Tijardović Concert Hall and on guest tours in appropriate halls and theaters outside Split.

The audition will be held on February 18, 2025 at 14 p.m. in the Ivo Tijardović Concert Hall in the Croatian House Split at Tončićeva 1, 21 000 Split.

Applications via e-mail producer@hdsplit.hr They run from February 1st to February 15th.

The application must include basic information (name and surname, date of birth, phone number) and a CV with one or more photos. It is not mandatory, but it is possible to attach a video in which the candidate sings the repertoire of their choice (.mp4 attachment to the email), or a link to a YouTube profile, Instagram or Facebook post that is publicly visible.

Audition results will be announced within a week of the audition.

Work on the play begins in mid-April 2025, and the premiere is planned for mid-May 2025. The conductor of the play is maestro Hari Zlodre, and the director is Ivan Leo Lemo.
