After the great success of the play Aunt Operetta and Barba Klavalir, which was seen by several thousand children during the past seasons, the Croatian Center for the Performing Arts Split is preparing a renewed musical and theatrical adventure for the youngest audience - Aunt Operetta and the Magical World of Music, directed by Stipe Gugić.

Well-known heroes will lead the audience through a magical journey through the world of classical music:
Aunt Operetta
Barba Klavalir

The performance introduces children to great musical works and opera characters in a fun, humorous and interactive way, with lots of playing, acting, singing and direct communication with the audience.

WANTED:
• Mozart (tenor) – audition
• Papageno (bass) – audition for alternation
• Joyful Figaro (baritone) – audition
• Papagena (soprano) – audition

The audition will take place
May 27, 2026 at 13 p.m.
at the Croatian House Split, Tončićeva 1.

All candidates must prepare a singing program, and after the performance, director, actor and puppeteer Stipe Gugić will give the candidates acting improvisations through which they will be able to show their acting talent, spontaneity, naturalness and stage openness - qualities necessary for a performance intended for a children's audience.

This performance is particularly looking for performers who, in addition to musical abilities, possess relaxation, imagination, and strong communication with the audience.
