Carnival of animals: sing, dance, play, listen! it is intended for primary school students, during which the participants will create an animal kingdom with the help of imagination and performers. By actively participating, he will help Noah to gather the animals in the ark before the great flood, which inspired Saint-Saëns for this work. Along with the author's song, they will learn the rules of concert etiquette, and then become active participants and creators of the workshop.
The first movement of the Royal March of the Lion evokes the king of animals with lyrics and singing, and imitating the lion's roar, the participants turn into a herd of lions and adopt the differences of instrumental and vocal-instrumental music. With the Aviary piece, they participate by imitating birdsong, and then look for the cuckoo at the end of the forest by actively listening to the piece of the same name. In Fosile, the keys become a musical and working instrument while the participants, like paleontologists, discover fossils in order to bring all the remaining animals into the ark in the Final through song and body music.
