It is one of the most representative Art Nouveau buildings in Split. It was built according to the project of Kamil Tončić in 1908. The founding assemblies of sports clubs - HNK Hajduk, VK Gusar and JK Jadran - were also held in the Croatian Home. The complete renovation project improved its structural condition and stability, and with the restoration of the architectural decoration according to historical photographs carried out by a team of restorers and conservators, it was restored to its original beauty. The renovation was co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and Media with the amount of HRK 4,1 million. The building is managed by the Public Cultural Institution Croatian Home Split. With the establishment of this public institution, Split is getting a professional concert hall for the first time in its history. The space is equipped with top-quality audio-visual equipment, which enables a high production level of musical and other events, congresses, lectures, presentations, anniversaries, etc.
