Pursuant to Article 38 of the Statute of the Public Institution of Culture Croatian House Split and the Rules of Procedure of the Public Institution of Culture Croatian House Split, II. Establishment of employment relationship, Article 1 - Article 20, the Public Institution Croatian House Split announces

COMPETITION

for work place  HEAD OF TECHNOLOGY AND MAINTENANCE

1 executor for an indefinite period with a trial period of 3 months

  1. Conditions:
  2. Required professional qualifications, specialization – MAG/VSS - BACC/VŠS in the field of technical sciences
  3. Working hours - twice
  4. Required work experience - 5 years of professional experience in the same or similar jobs
  5. Trial period - 3 months
  • university graduate study or university integrated undergraduate and graduate study or professional graduate study in a technical profession
  • at least five years of work experience in the same or similar jobs,
  • advanced computer skills
  • knowledge of occupational safety systems
  • knowledge of how fire protection works
  • professional, work, organizational and communication skills,
  • active knowledge of English in speaking and writing (level B)
  • driving license B category

People of both sexes can apply for the competition. The terms used in this competition, which have a gender meaning, are used neutrally and refer equally to the female and male genders.

By applying for the competition, candidates agree that JUK Hrvatski dom Split, as the data controller, will process the data collected on the basis of the competition only to the extent and only for the purpose of implementing the competition, by persons authorized to implement the competition. JUK Hrvatski dom Split will handle personal data in accordance with applicable regulations, applying appropriate technical security measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, misuse, disclosure, loss or damage.

Candidates are required to provide their personal information (name and surname, address of residence, telephone number, email address) and the name of the job position for which they are applying, along with their signed application for the competition.

The following attachments must be attached to the tender application:

  • biography,
  • proof of citizenship (national identity card or ID card – copy),
  • proof of the appropriate level of education (diploma - copy),
  • proof of total work experience ((printout of the electronic record of data from the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute or a certificate of data recorded in the records of the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute obtained during the competition. The record/certificate, among other data, must contain data on the employer, start and end of insurance, actual and required qualifications, working hours, municipality of residence and duration of insurance experience),
  • proof of English language proficiency (copy of the index showing the candidate's personal data, high school diploma or appropriate certificates),
  • proof of computer skills (copy of the index showing the candidate's personal data, high school diploma or appropriate certificates)

The time of the candidate's knowledge and skills test will be announced on the notice board of the Croatian House Split, the official website of the Croatian House Split, and by email to candidates, at least 3 days before the test takes place.

Pursuant to Article 12 of the Constitution of the Republic of Croatia (Official Gazette, No. 56/90, 135/97, 08/98, 113/00, 124/00, 28/01, 41/01, 55/01, 76/10, 85/10, 05/14), the Croatian language and the Latin script are in official use in the Republic of Croatia. Accordingly, all documentation must be in the Croatian language and the Latin script. Otherwise, the application will not be considered valid. The requirement of a professional title (level of education) is also met by a person who, according to previous regulations, has acquired a university degree in the relevant profession. A person applying for a vacancy on the basis of education completed abroad is required to submit a decision on the recognition of foreign qualifications.

Pursuant to Article 13 of the Law on Gender Equality (Official Gazette, No. 82/08, 69/17), persons of both sexes may apply for the competition. Expressions used in this text of the competition, which have a gender meaning, refer equally to the male and female genders.

Persons who, according to special regulations, exercise the right of priority in employment have priority over other persons only under equal conditions and must refer to this right in their application for a public tender. The person who invokes that right in the application is obliged to attach appropriate documents as proof of status and other evidence in accordance with the special law that defines that right.

"Under equal conditions" means a situation in which two candidates have the same number of points on the final ranking list, and the advantage in employment is given to the candidate who invoked a specific right in his/her application and proved it with the attached evidence.

A person who has invoked the right to priority under the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of Their Families (Official Gazette, No. 121/17, 98/19, 84/21 and 156/23) is obliged, in addition to evidence of meeting the required conditions of the competition, to submit all evidence from Article 103 of the cited Act. The evidence required for exercising the right to priority in employment is published on the website of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans of the Republic of Croatia  https://branitelji.gov.hr/zaposljavanje-843/843 .

A person who has invoked the right to priority in employment under the Act on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War (Official Gazette, No. 84/21) is obliged, in addition to evidence of meeting the required conditions of the competition, to submit all evidence from Article 49 of the Act on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War. The evidence required for exercising the right to priority in employment is published on the website of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans of the Republic of Croatia https://branitelji.gov.hr/zaposljavanje-u-drzavnoj-sluzbi/843 .

A person who invokes the right to priority in employment in accordance with Article 48.f. of the Act on the Protection of Military and Civilian War Invalids (Official Gazette, No. 33/92, 77/92, 27/93, 58/93, 2/94, 76/94, 108/95, 108/96, 82/01, 103/03, 148/13 and 98/19) is obliged to submit, in addition to proof of meeting the required conditions, a decision or certificate of recognized right with the application for the vacancy.

A person who has invoked the right to priority in employment under the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities ("Official Gazette" No. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18, 32/20) is obliged, in addition to proof of meeting the required conditions of the competition, to submit proof of disability, provided that this proof includes public documents on disability on the basis of which the person can be entered in the register of persons with disabilities referred to in Article 13 of that Act.

A proper application is considered to be one that contains all the information and attachments required in the competition. A person who does not submit a timely and proper application or does not meet the formal requirements of the competition is not considered a candidate for the competition, and their application will not be considered.

For persons who meet the formal requirements of the competition and have acquired the status of a candidate registered for the competition, a preliminary assessment of knowledge and abilities will be carried out through a written test and interview. If the candidate does not take the preliminary assessment of knowledge and abilities, it will be considered that he or she has withdrawn his or her application for the competition. The interview will only be conducted with candidates who have achieved at least 75% of the points in the written test. The results of the interview will be scored in the same way as the written test.

 

Tender applications with evidence of meeting the conditions must be submitted within 8 days from the date of application

publication of the competition on the website of the Croatian House Split, by mail to the address:

Candidates will be informed about the results of the competition within the legal deadline.
