Based on Article 14 of the Statute of the Public Institution of Culture Croatian Home of 12 February 2024, the Conclusion on the transfer of the multi-purpose hall on the Croatian Fraternal Union Square to the Public Institution of Culture Croatian Home Split ("Official Gazette of the City of Split", No. 27/21) and in accordance with the provisions of the Decision on the allocation of real estate for use to budget users of the City of Split ("Official Gazette of the City of Split", No. 11/24), the Public Institution of Culture Croatian Home Split hereby announces
PUBLIC CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
for the use of the multimedia space at the address Trg hrvatska fraternal zajednice, Split
I. GENERAL PROVISIONS
Article 1
This Public Call regulates the conditions, method and criteria for expressing interest in using the multimedia space at the address Trg hrvatska fraternal zajednice, Split, managed by the Public Institution in Culture Croatian Home Split (hereinafter referred to as: the Institution), which is intended for the implementation of artistic, cultural and educational programs, with a special emphasis on programs aimed at children and youth.
Article 2
The space that is the subject of this Public Call is the multimedia space of the Institution, located at the address Trg hrvatska fraternal zajednice, Split (hereinafter: the Space), together with the associated technical and stage infrastructure, in accordance with the availability and technical capabilities of the space.

The space is in the process of rehabilitation, and the final technical, spatial and production possibilities of the space will be determined after the completion of the rehabilitation works.
It is noted that the terms of use, including the price, will be determined and published in a subsequent formal tender. This Public Call is solely for expressions of interest, without obligation and without defining financial elements.
Article 3
Submitting an application to this Public Call represents only an expression of interest in the implementation of the program in the premises of the Institution and does not represent an offer in terms of entering into a contract nor does it create any right of the applicant to use the premises or enter into a contract with the Institution.
The institution reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel this Public Call at any time without giving any specific explanation and without the obligation to reimburse any costs incurred by the applicant.
Article 4
The space may be provided for temporary, occasional or programmatic use, depending on the nature of the applied program, the availability of time slots and the program assessment of the Institution.
II. PURPOSE AND STRATEGIC GOALS

The aim of this Public Call is to ensure transparent, equal and strategically focused use of the Institution's space and to encourage the development of quality artistic content that contributes to: the development of artistic creativity and critical thinking of children and young people,

Programs that include a greater number of the listed elements have an advantage in the evaluation process.
IV. ARTISTIC AND PEDAGOGICAL STANDARDS

Programs that include long-term cooperation with educational institutions and continuity of work with children and youth are particularly valued.
V. ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF ACTIVITY

Acceptable forms of activity are:
Commercial programs can only be approved if they are in line with the public interest and the Institution's program profile.
VI. CONDITIONS FOR APPLICANTS
Article 9
Natural and legal persons who: have the right to submit an application for an expression of interest.
The application must also include a description of the program, work methodology and expected outcomes of the program.

IX. DECISION-MAKING PROCEDURE
Article 12
The Director of the Institution considers the received applications and determines program proposals that, according to the prescribed criteria, are suitable for performance in the Institution's premises, and submits them to the Governing Board for approval.
The institution reserves the right not to accept any proposal or to accept individual proposals, without the obligation to provide an explanation.
X. CONCLUSION OF THE CONTRACT
Article 13
The implementation of the program and the use of the space are regulated by a special contract that the Institution concludes with the selected applicant. The contract regulates in detail the mutual rights and obligations of the contracting parties, especially with regard to the duration and manner of use of the space, financial conditions, technical and production requirements, obligations to ensure the visibility of the Institution and the City of Split, as well as other issues of importance for the orderly and timely implementation of the program. Without concluding the contract referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article, the use of the space is not permitted.
XI. FINAL PROVISIONS
Article 14
This Public Call is published on the website of the Public Cultural Institution Croatian Home Split and remains open until the deadline for submitting applications.
The deadline for submitting expressions of interest is 30 days from the date of publication of the Public Call.
Article 15
Personal data collected within the framework of this Public Call are processed in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation.
The institution collects and processes personal data of applicants exclusively for the purpose of implementing the procedure of this Public Call, evaluating applications and, in the case of selection, concluding and executing space use contracts.
Personal data will not be processed for other purposes nor will it be provided to third parties, except in cases prescribed by law or when necessary for the implementation of this procedure.
Article 16
For everything not expressly regulated by this Public Call, the applicable regulations of the Republic of Croatia and the general acts of the Institution shall apply.
