Mia Pečnik made her first appearance with an orchestra at the age of eleven, and at fifteen she made her debut with the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of maestro Pavle Dešpalj. She has performed with the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra on seven more occasions: in Kuwait, in the Santa Cecilia Hall in Rome, in Zagreb (KD Vatroslav Lisinski and the Croatian National Theatre). She has performed with the Croatian National Theatre Symphony Orchestra in Osijek, twice with the Bazzini Consort Orchestra in Brescia, with the Young Symphony Orchestra (Opole in Poland), with the Master Orchestra in Verona, on three occasions with the Zagreb Soloists, with the Croatian Television Symphony Orchestra in the final of the Eurovision Young Musicians competition, and with the orchestra she has performed at the St. Mark's Festival in 2020. In 2021 she will perform with the Krakow Philharmonic Orchestra in Krakow. She has won more than 80 first and special awards at competitions. She has won Oscars of Knowledge at national competitions. She is the winner of the "Young Musician of the Year" Award presented by the Zagreb Philharmonic. In 2020, at the 45th Samobor Music Autumn, she won the City of Samobor and HDS Award. In the same year, she won the "Ivo Vuljević" award for the best achievement of young musicians. In 2020, she won the German scholarship of the Werner Richard – Dr. Carl Dörken Foundation, and Jens Becker Agency Dortmund selected her after an audition to participate in the "Best of NRW" concert series program. She has performed solo throughout Croatia as well as at numerous festivals in London, Budapest, Bucharest, Kraków, Katowice, Marbella, Vigo, Trieste, Belgrade, and New York's Carnegie Hall, where she performed twice. As a multiple winner of awards at international EPTA competitions, she regularly performs at concerts throughout Croatia organized by EPTA Croatia. She has recorded for HTV, Hungarian Television, and RTL.
