Eduardo Hubert, born in Argentina to a Polish family, graduated in piano from the National Conservatory of Music in Buenos Aires, where he studied with Antonio De Raca and Vincenzo Scaramuzza. He also earned a degree in engineering from the University of Buenos Aires.

In 1974, he moved to Italy to continue his piano studies with Faust Zadra, Carlo Zecchi, Guido Agostio, Nikita Magaloff and Louis Hiltbrand. He studied electronic music composition with Franco Evangelisti and conducting with Franco Ferraro and Leonard Bernstein at the Santa Cecilia Academy in Rome. In 1979, he received the "Licence de Concert" at the Conservatory in Lausanne, Switzerland.

He becomes a professor of chamber music at the Conservatory in Pescara, Italy, and a visiting professor at the Musikhochschule in Karlsruhe (Germany). He conducted the Symphony Orchestra of the Hungarian Radio and Television, the SimĂłn BolĂ­var Youth Orchestra, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, the OSI (Swiss Italian Radio Orchestra), the National Symphony Orchestra of Argentina, the National Youth Orchestra of Argentina, the Arpeggione Chamber Orchestra in Austria, the Solti Georg Chamber Orchestra in Budapest, the Bulgarian Chamber Orchestra orchestra, Camerat du Paris, Brazilian Chamber Orchestra from Curitiba, Adriatica Philharmonic, Sinfonica Municipal Mar de la Plata (Argentina), Lualdi Orchestra and many others.

As a pianist, he gave concerts with Martha Argerich, Sándor Wégh, Ivry Gitlis, Dora Schwarzberg, Radu Adulescu, Juri Bašmet, Daniel Grosgurin, Gervase de Payer, Pierre Pierlot, János Bálint, Renaud and Gautier Capuçon, and others.

In 1998, he received the most important recognition from the Italian president Oscar Luigi Scalfaro for his Festival "Progetto Cenacolo". He has given concerts in many prestigious concert halls and theaters in Europe and South America, including the Santa Cecilia Hall in the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome, Salle Pleyel, La Roque d'Anthéron, Teatro Colón and the New Cultural Center in Buenos Aires.

As a composer, he won an Oscar for... In 2016, he created the ensemble ReEncuentros, dedicated to classical music and sounds from around the world.

Hubert recorded the world premiere of Arnold Schönberg's "Drei Kleine Klavierstücke" for Edi-Pan (1984) and other albums for EMI, Warner Classics, Ricordi, Minstrel, Dante-Lys and Pentaphon Classics. In 2015, he recorded (Warner Classics), live with the Lugano Argerich Project, the world premiere of Bacalov's "Porteña", a concerto for two pianos and orchestra with Martha Argerich and the Italian Swiss Orchestra (conductor A. Vedernikov), Milhaud's "Creation of the World" (version for piano quintet) and Nisinman's "Hombre Tango" with the ReEncuentros ensemble.

Between 2001 and 2005, he was the artistic coordinator of the Martha Argerich Festival in Buenos Aires. In 2008, he participated in the Italian tour for the anniversary of Vincenzo Scaramuzza with Nelson Goerner and Martha Argerich.

In November 2015, he conducted and played with the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra in the Great Hall. In 2017, he played concerts in L'Aquila and at the opening of the Bologna Festival season with Martha Argerich and his ensemble ReEncuentros. In 2017 and 2018, he performed at the International Piano Festival in Bergamo and Brescia.

In 2021, he premiered his piece "Las vueltas del 8" at Martha Argerich's eightieth birthday at the Chateau de Fontainebleau.
